The Cottage at Westport is roomy and open, with over 1,000 square feet of living space. If you’re looking for a quiet spot to enjoy some peace and relaxation, just take your pick…this cottage has a furnished screen porch, an open-air stone patio overlooking the lake, a waterside dock and a large, sunny yard.

Swimming
The water is 4 – 5’ deep off the dock, great for kids who love to jump and swim. There is no beach area on the property itself, however there is a beach at the campground down the road, available to guests on a day-use basis.
Boating and Water Sports
Due to liability issues and the cost of insurance, a boat is not provided with the rental. There are several places nearby that rent motor boats, canoes, kayaks, and other water sports equipment, and we have provided contact information on our Local Info & Attractions page.
If you’re bringing your own boat, there is a nice launch just a few minutes from the cottage, and we can provide directions and a map at your request.
